With the holiday season in full swing, it's the perfect time to capitalise on opportunities to make extra cash.
Sarah Nicholson, the Head of Customer Experience at JustMoney, suggests using the festive season to create something unique.
Options include meal prep and party platters, gift wrapping, personalised gift services, or even cleaning services for holiday rentals, kids holiday programmes or babysitting.
“People are looking for something that is transparent, efficient and want as little stress as possible,” she says.

In the retail and restaurant space, establishments are on the hunt for more hands-on seasonal staff.
She advises people to identify their skills and interests, start small, and offer services to their local community.
“The main thing is to understand the season that is taking place, and use your creativity to create something. It will help you build confidence that you can actually create a side hustle, and potentially make it something that can drive revenue for you long-term.”
