Kurt Darren hops on the viral train with the release of ‘6 7’ song

Still can’t get '6 7' out of your head? Musician Kurt Darren is bringing it to the airwaves with his new hit song. 

Coupled with a catchy melody, the English song is a clever play on words of the viral trend that captured kids’ attention and adults' frustration alike. 

Darren said he is thrilled to see how the song has taken off, especially in the way it has been used on social media and the hype the community has created around it.

He explained that it is just about having fun, because he certainly had fun making it.

“Love it or hate it, I am just having fun, you know. I have nothing left to prove. I have been around for so long; I am having such a jol.” 

“With 6 7, it’s not a party song, but it’s just a lekker song to sing along with, and unfortunately, if you listen to it once, it’s like a virus.”
