Speaking exclusively to EWN on Wednesday, Warras’ close friend and mentee, Nicole Nelson, provided clarity on his involvement with the hijacked building.
Nelson said that during an audit of Zambesi House in July, Warras, through his security company, Imperium Ops, discovered issues of health and safety, as well as alleged illegal activities taking place in the eight story building.
“Brothels, just weeks prior - the rape of a little girl. I am of the view that there may have even been the manufacturing, small scale, of paraphernalia, mandrax in particular.”
She said that last week, Warras applied for six protection orders against individuals in the building after receiving threats.
“The landlord allegedly was pocketing rent along with the leader of the forum. They were making money in more ways than one.”
Nelson claims a protection order hearing was meant to be heard before a magistrate in February.
