Justice community mourns passing of respected prosecutor Riegal du Toit

Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi has expressed deep sadness following the passing of Advocate Riegal du Toit, the former Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions in the Gauteng Local Division.

Minister Kubayi noted that Advocate du Toit made significant contributions to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and the broader pursuit of justice throughout his career.

The Minister described du Toit as a committed and highly respected public servant. In a statement, she extended her heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues, as well as the entire prosecutorial community.
