Gauteng police have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of popular media personality Warrick Stock, widely known as DJ Warras.
The arrests follow an investigation into the attack that occurred on December 16. Earlier on Monday, police took two individuals in for questioning, who have since been officially detained.
Stock was reportedly called to the Zambesi House building in the Johannesburg CBD, where he had been providing security services. He was fatally shot outside the premises. While two individuals are currently in custody, investigators originally suspected that three people were involved in the ambush.
Police spokesperson Brenda Muridili confirmed that the investigation remains active as authorities search for additional accomplices.
"The two persons of interest that have been brought in for questioning during the early hours of 22 December 2025 have been detained and will be charged with the murder of DJ Warras," Muridili stated. "They are due to appear at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Wednesday."
