The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a warning of severe thunderstorms across large parts of Gauteng on Saturday.
The wet weather is expected to set in the afternoon and continue into the night.

“In our weather for today, partly cloudy conditions are expected for the central and the eastern parts of the country, with a 30%-60% chance of showers and thundershowers. A 60% is expected over the North West, over Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, the Free State province as well into KwaZulu-Natal.
