Johannesburg is expected to have a warm day on Thursday, with mostly cloudy skies and a risk of isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon as humidity levels rise, according to AccuWeather.
Highs will reach around 26–28 °C, with northerly winds strengthening to roughly 20–25 km/h and occasional gusts, before partly cloudy and cooler conditions set in overnight.
Evening lows will drop toward the mid-teens Celsius as storm activity diminishes and skies clear moderately.
In Pretoria, the forecast is similar with a warm day expected.
Skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy with the chance of scattered showers or isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening.
Daytime temperatures will peak around 27–28 °C with northerly to westerly winds at 15–25 km/h.
Overnight temperatures will be mild with lows near 16–18 °C under partly cloudy skies and lighter winds.
