South Africa will face Cameroon on Sunday in their first knockout match of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Bafana Bafana finished second in Group B, one point behind Egypt, ending the group stage with six points after two wins and a loss.
Football reporter Sizwe Mbebe said the focus now shifts to winning every match, with no room for error.

South Africa has a strong record against Cameroon at AFCON and overall, with one victory in 1996 (3-0) and two AFCON draws.
Mbebe explains that Cameroon’s downfall often comes from individual brilliance, which Bafana Bafana must be prepared to counter
He praised performers like Lyle Foster and Oswin Apollis but said other players will need to step up and make a difference.
“They don’t have a system like South Africa has… We got ourselves a team that actually came into the tournament as one of the most disorganized teams so I don’t think that this is a team that has a Plan B,” he said.
The winner of this round of 16 clash could face Morocco in the quarter finals, another team that South Africa has a strong record against, Mbebe added.
“The only blemish on their record against an African opposition is us, and not once, twice. These are our people, they know it at club level as well… I would fancy our chances against Morocco.”
