Controversial head of the publicly-owned Independent Development Trust Tebogo Malaka has resigned.
Last year Malaka was seen on video allegedly trying to bribe a journalist to a make a story go away.
A forensic report also implicated her in the irregular R836-million oxygen tender where its alleged that she facilitated for the tender to be awarded to an unqualified company.
Malaka has denied all claims against her.
In a statement issued the IDT said that Malaka has resigned from her position as CEO effective from the 31st of January.
It said that she wont be receiving an exit compensation
