One dead, three wounded in New Cross Roads shooting

Gugulethu police are investigating the death a 24-year-old man following a shooting earlier this week.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in a residence in David Street, New Cross Roads, on Thursday.

The 24-year-old victim was declared deceased on the scene, while the others, aged between 20 and 52 years old, were transported to a medical facility after sustaining gunshots in the attack.

Police spokesperson Frederick Van Wyk said the circumstances surrounding the attack are under investigation.
