The high-profile trial of alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack is set to resume in the Western Cape High Court on Monday after more than a month-long recess.
Modack faces 122 charges and is on trial with 14 others for various crimes related to allegedly operating a criminal enterprise.

Some of the charges include murder, extortion, money laundering and fraud.
Prosecutor Greg Wolmarans rested the state's case against Modack in November last year after 29 days of cross-examination.
The prosecution team has used cellphone evidence to show the court how Modack used some of his co-accused to commit crimes on his behalf.
Evidence shows Modack used co-accused Zane Killian to track the whereabouts of slain top cop Charl Kinnear before his murder in September 2020.
Modack said the charges against him were trumped up by his alleged underworld rival, Jerome "Donkie" Booysen and allegedly corrupt cops.
Defence attorney Bashier Sibda is set to re-examine Modack.
