Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has criticised AfriForum, accusing the organisation of continued disrespect for the South African Constitution.
Malema made the comments while addressing EFF supporters after his pre-sentencing hearing at the East London Magistrates Court on Friday.
The matter arises from his conviction for violating gun laws after he fired shots into the air at a public rally seven years ago.

The case against the EFF leader was initiated by AfriForum in 2018.
Addressing supporters, Malema alleged that the lobby group has a targeted agenda against him.
“Afriforum must pray that the EFF must never be a government in South Africa because the day we take government, we are going to lock them up.”
POLITICAL SCORES
With Malema due to return to court in April for sentencing, he maintains that his opponents are using the legal system to settle political scores.
Addressing supporters after the pre-sentencing hearing, Malema insisted that the case against him is both politically and racially motivated.
“When I joined the struggle, I knew three things might happen to me: They will either arrest me, kill me or I will attain my freedom. We are not scared of death, and we are not scared of prison.”
