Paarl Hospital fire: Suspect to make court appearance on asron charge

A 35-year-old is set to appear before the Paarl Magistrates Court on Thursday on a charge of arson after allegedly causing a fire at Paarl Provincial Hospital.
Three floors of the hospital were evacuated on Wednesday after a blaze flared up, causing damage to a section of the facility.
The fire was quickly contained and no injuries were reported.

Drakenstein Municipality Fire and Rescue Services said the fire seemed to have started near a car parked in front of the hospital.
"A 35-year-old male suspect was apprehended for questioning and later detained. He will appear in the Paarl Magistrates Court."
