Gigaba's corruption case moved to Gauteng High Court for trial

The case against former public enterprises minister Malusi Gigaba and his four co- accused has been transferred to the Gauteng High Court for trial.
Gigaba made his second appearance on Friday in the Palm Ridge magistrates' court for a fraud charge linked to a controversial locomotive deal during his tenure.
He is charged alongside Transnet executives Brian Molefe, Siyabonga Gama, Anoj Singh, and engineer Thamsanqa Jiyane.
State prosecutor Santhos Manilall confirmed the indictment, and a notice of trial has been served to all the accused.
"The date that the matter can be transferred is the 19th of February. There has been an amendment to the notice of trial. The notice of trial for all the indictments served on the accused, and the copy handed to your worship, has also been amended."
