On Sunday, technicians spent the day on site conducting mop-up operations and investigating the cause.
City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena said the repairs will continue on Monday morning.
“The actual work of repair and replacement will start from Monday, and it’s anticipated that it will go on until the end of the week – say, Friday. We had two days of doing nothing really, waiting for clearance from both EMS and structural engineers. Our teams are working hard to try reduce that time frame.”
