At least 11 passengers injured after bus tumbles into embankment

At least 11 people have been injured when a bus they were travelling tumbled into an embankment in Mondeor.
It is believed the driver of the Putco bus lost control after the brakes failed in the south of Johannesburg on Tuesday morning.
It is believed the bus driver was calling for help when he realised the brakes were failing.
The bus is stopped on the side of the road, but the area is steep and it appears the bus is on a hill.
While stopped, the bus began to roll backward, left the roadway and went over an embankment.
All passengers are being rescued and are being transported by emergency vehicles to nearby hospitals.
There are no fatalities.
