ActionSA says Xolani Khumalo won’t be joining Ekurhuleni mayoral committee

ActionSA said its City of Ekurhuleni mayoral candidate, Xolani Khumalo, will not be joining the metro's mayoral committee.

Ekurhuleni Mayor Doctor Xhakaza announced a reshuffling of his mayoral cabinet on Tuesday night, with Khumalo as the new MMC for Community Services and By-law Enforcement.

But ActionSA has released a statement on Wednesday morning, saying Khumalo will not be joining what the party called a “failing and corrupt” Ekurhuleni government.

Mayoral spokesperson Ramotlo Tlotleng has told EWN they are not aware of ActionSA’s statement.
