The VW Polo Vivo and Suzuki Swift have competed for years for the top-selling passenger car spot, but how well do they stack up against each other?
Michael Pashut, owner of the online vehicle sales platform Change Cars, recently put two new models up against each other at Swaartkops Raceway in Pretoria.
“It was just everyday driving, braking, handling, ease of use, ergonomics, and you’ll see an incredible test between the two.”
He said that both models impressed with their quality, safety features, and handling.
“I am not generally driving entry-level cars, and I was blown away by the quality of the Suzuki Swift and the VW Polo Vivo. There is nothing whatsoever that they did wrong.”
Pashut added that, as entry-level cars, they are both great options for a good reason.
“You speak about the safety, and that is absolutely key. You want your colleagues, your youngsters, kids, and parents to feel safe. Driving these cars on track, you can push on a little bit, and they were unbelievable,” he said.
