Motorists are being urged to drive cautiously because it’s raining in most parts of Gauteng.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a warning for severe thunderstorms throughout the weekend, with a high chance of flash floods in low-lying areas.
Johannesburg Emergency Services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi said, “Our motorists are also urged to exercise caution while driving, crossing flooded roads and low-lying bridges.”
