Madlanga Commission: Ramaphosa grants inquiry extension

The deadline for the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry has been extended.
The commission was initially supposed to complete its work by 17 March.
However, it has experienced delays due to witnesses falling sick and other administrative issues.

In a statement released on Monday, President Cyril Ramaphosa granted the extension due to the number of outstanding people who still need to appear before the commission.
The second interim report is now expected by 29 May, while the deadline for the final submission has been moved to 31 August.
