Police raid properties of businessman Calvin Mathibeli

Police have recovered documents and technical gadgets at the home of controversial businessman Calvin Mathibeli in Durban North.
Mathibeli was recently ordered by the Durban High Court to retract sentiments he made about KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, in which he alleged that the commissioner is corrupt.

On Tuesday, investigators raided several of his properties across the country.
In Durban, a number of police vehicles and heavily armed tactical officers were spotted outside one of his properties.
The 37-year-old is the founder and CEO of the Calvin and Family Group, which has been in business for over 19 years and maintains 10 business subsidiaries.
