Accused in Mark Lifman murder to wait until December to apply for bail

CAPE TOWN - The two men accused of killing controversial Cape Town businessman, Mark Lifman, will have to wait for a month to know if they'll get bail or not.
Fifty-three-year-old Johannes Jacobs and 37-year-old Gert Bezuidenhout appeared at the George Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
They were arrested in Uniondale a few hours after Lifman's murder in George on 3 November.

Lifman, an alleged underworld figure, was shot and killed while walking to his car at the parking lot of the Garden Route Mall.
Jacobs and Bezuidenhout are charged with premeditated murder for their alleged involvement in Lifman's assassination.
They will be back in court on 12 and 13 December to apply for bail.
The motive for Lifman's murder is unknown at this stage.
