Kaizer Chiefs has made two additional signings, strengthening its ranks for the 2025/26 season.
The club announced on Tuesday (19 August) that it has acquired the services of striker Etiosa Ighodaro and teen sensation Luke Baartman.
Ighodaro (24), from Nigeria, spent last season on loan at AmaZulu FC.
“His passion, work rate and dedication will surely add to the team this season and beyond,” says Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr.

Nineteen-year-old Baartman was declared a free agent by the PSL’s Dispute Resolution Chamber on Tuesday.
The club previously attempted to sign Baartman for free, but his former club, Cape Town Spurs, contested their attempt.
“He is an exciting young talent that we’ve been monitoring for the past few seasons, both at Club level, in the Bayhill Cup, where he was voted player of the tournament, and the U17 national team that played at AFCON,” Motaung adds.
