CAPE TOWN - Land Reform and Rural Development Minister Mzwanele Nyhontso is expected to visit flood-hit areas in the Swartland on Tuesday afternoon.
Last week, farm dam walls collapsed resulting in flooding in the Chatsworth and Riverlands communities, near Malmesbury.

Gift of the Givers' Ali Sablay says the humanitarian aid organisation's teams have been providing daily hot meals and brought in two water tankers to the Riverlands area from the Eastern Cape.
Firewood was also delivered so that residents could keep warm.
Sablay says emotions are running high in the community with retired residents sharing stories about how they used all their savings to build their homes and don't have insurance.
