It was an electrifying night in Pretoria when Lerena successfully defended his WBC bridgerweight title.

He delivered a knockout win against Serhiy Radchenko, just 16 seconds into the third round.

It was an extra special night, as it was the first time the bridgerweight championship was defended on South African soil.

“It went all my way, we didn’t take a lot of punishment… I just wanted to make a statement with this fight because this is going to take up to bigger, greater things.”
