Underground hip-hop duo Cold Chinese Food have released their long-awaited debut album, ‘Vital Ital’.
Longtime friends and music collaborators from Johannesburg, Sam Turpin and Illa N, deliver a lyrically engaging and entertaining project with themes of food, sound and people.
The 13-track album combines jazz, rock, afrobeat fusion and experimental hip-hop.
“We’ve used music as our message to appeal to a broader audience and as a creative expression that shouldn’t be confined by constrictions,” says Turpin.
The album is available on all streaming and digital platforms.
