JOHANNESBURG - Members of the public will be allowed to lodge information and provide tip-offs with the judicial commission of inquiry into corruption within the criminal justice system via an online portal.
During a briefing in Sandton on Monday afternoon, chairperson of the commission, acting Deputy Chief Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga, informed the media that a date for the start of the commission had yet to be determined.
He said that they were in the process of securing a venue in Gauteng and assured citizens that the commission would commence in August.
"The procurement process to secure a building in Gauteng is underway. The public will be advised of the premises and online facilities, where they can lodge information, as soon as this process of procurement is finalised."
