New Showmax series ‘Untied’ explores divorce stories of 8 well-known SA women

Eight well-known South African women will share their divorce stories on a new series on Showmax called Untied.

Hosted by Relebogile Mabotja, the series will dive deep into heartbreak, healing and everything in between.

The show features Norma Gigaba, Beverly Steyn, Nonku Williams, Dawn Thandeka King, Mona Monyane, Palesa Madisakwane, Zandi Nhlapo and Sonia Booth.

From tears to laughter, tough truths and unexpected moments of hope, the creators of the show say this is no tabloid-style drama.

Produced by the team behind Unfollowed and The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip – South Africa, Untied is said to be anything but your typical couch-and-confessions setup. 

So, what’s the takeaway?

Beyond the celebrity status, Untied seeks to challenge everything you think you know about love, marriage, and womanhood in South Africa.

The show premieres on 24 June.
