PICS: Massive fire rages in Kalk Bay, affecting traffic on Boyes Drive

12 February 2024 | 14:27A massive fire in Kalk Bay is causing severe delays along the main road.
Cape Town has had a devastating fire season that is continuing to cause significant damage.
Table Mountain National Park says that two Huey helicopters, and a spotter plane, alongside the City of Cape Town Fire and Rescue Services are responding to the fire along Boyes Drive, near Trappieskop.
Boyes Drive has been closed to traffic as a result of the blaze.

TrafficSA has warned of heavy traffic delays, as the fire services aim to stop the spread of the fire.
