Tshwane MMC for Corporate and Shared Services, Kholofelo Morodi, has been placed on special leave following serious implications at the Madlanga Commission earlier on Thursday.
The move stems from evidence suggesting that in December 2024, Morodi allegedly shared internal bid specification documents with Gauteng police sergeant, Fannie Nkosi.

The documents reportedly related to several open tenders within the municipality.
In an official statement, the City of Tshwane confirmed that Morodi will step away from her duties to allow for a comprehensive investigation into her conduct.
Mayoral Spokesperson Samkelo Mgobhozi clarified the nature of the suspension:
“The City of Tshwane emphasises that this measure does not constitute a finding of wrongdoing, nor does it imply any presumption of guilt. It reflects a principled commitment to transparency, accountability, and ensuring that all allegations are subjected to appropriate scrutiny.”
