A recent report from Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has revealed that South Africa’s public servants are lacking critical skills, particularly in technology.
These skills are essential for the effective management of public affairs.

The study found that while public servants are familiar with modern technology, they are unsure how to utilise it to improve efficiency.

The report argues that the government must urgently invest in enhancing the training of public servants and commit to their continuous professional development.
