Understanding the SARS auto assessment functionality: 'It's world class'

If your tax return is relatively simple and straightforward, look out for your auto assessment in your e-filing account between 7 and 20 July.

As Roelofse explains, SARS is using AI to automatically assess taxpayers who have a regular and 'predictable' income.

Roelofse explains that you do still need to check that everything has been included... simply look out for the 'EASY' button from 7 July.
