The league supports ActionSA’s motion to oust executive mayor Sivuyile Ngodwana citing that service delivery has severely deteriorated under his leadership.

ANCYL calls on ANC caucus in Ekurhuleni to support no-confidence vote against mayor

JOHANNESBURG - The ANC Youth League is calling on the the party's caucus in Ekurhuleni to support the no-confidence vote against executive mayor Sivuyile Ngodwana. It will be heard in council on Thursday afternoon.

The league supports ActionSA’s motion to oust Ngodwana citing that service delivery has severely deteriorated under his leadership.

Youth league Spokesperson Simphiwe Patsoe also expressed dissatisfaction with the ANC’s coalition with the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).

"We are stagnant on our position that the ANC must move away from this coalition with the EFF because it is not benefitting our communities."
