5 men killed, 5 others wounded in Hout Bay shooting

CAPE TOWN - Five men are dead and five others injured after a shooting in Hout Bay on Wednesday night.
Police said that serious and violent crime unit detectives were hard at work pursuing leads in a bid to apprehend the suspects amid reports on going violence in the area.
The Hout Bay community policing forum said that two other people were killed in another shooting in the same area on Tuesday.
Police could not confirm this but said additional officers had been deployed in Hout Bay to prevent further violence.
Police spokesperson, Andre Traut: "At around 19:00, unknown gunmen opened fire at the occupants of a house in Molokwane Street in Imizamo Yethu and a vehicle, which was parked outside the house. Five men, aged between 20 and 45, did not survive the onslaught on their life."
Traut said the motive for the violence was yet to be determined.
