Freeman Nomvalo appointed as new administrator of student financial aid body NSFAS

Ernest Khosa, chair of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has resigned, and the board dissolved.

Freeman Nomvalo, former SA Accountant-General and previous CEO of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), has been appointed as NSFAS administrator.

Rudie Heyneke, Investigations Manager of the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA), says they welcome the decision, and hope students will now get their allowances timeously.
