JOHANNESBURG - The 45 Botswana nationals who died in a bus crash in Limpopo over Easter weekend have been laid to rest.

The pilgrims were travelling to Moria for Easter festivities when the bus they were travelling in veered off a bridge and fell into a ditch before catching fire.
One eight-year-old girl survived. Her grandmother was among the deceased.
Speaking at the funeral, Ramathuba thanked the families of those who died for their patience while they waited almost a month for the victims to be repatriated.
"You believed in us. You trusted us. You knew that we will execute this difficult but critical task mandated to us by our two heads of state," she told mourners.
Ramathuba conveyed his condolences to the victims' family and friends on behalf of the people of South Africa.
