Gauteng police nab 4 people for possession of fake petroleum oil

CAPE TOWN - Four Zimbabwean nationals have been arrested for the possession of counterfeit petroleum oil worth over R200,000 in Gauteng.
Police said they received a tip-off and searched a house in Monavoni, a suburb on the outskirts of Centurion in Pretoria on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson, Amanda van Wyk, said that officers seized over 3,000 litres of petroleum oil at the address.
"Police subsequently arrested four Zimbabwean nationals whose residency status will be verified by the Department of Home Affairs. The suspects are expected to appear before a magistrates court, facing charges for the contravention of the Counterfeit Goods Act."
