JOHANNESBURG - The seaside town of Port Shepstone on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast is a no-go zone following numerous reports of a violent taxi protest.
Eyewitness News understands that aggrieved taxi drivers and owners have blockaded all exits and entries into the town, including parts of the N2 highway.
This after members of the road traffic inspectorate impounded a number of taxis yesterday as part of "Operation Shanela".
