Results of Wednesday’s landmark general elections are trickling in at the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC)’s National Results Operations Centre.

The number-watching marathon is underway following the national and provincial elections.

The IEC is expected to officially declare the results, perhaps on Monday, as counting is completed and reflected on the leaderboard.
