NKANDLA - Former statesman Jacob Zuma says he wouldn’t have dared to launch the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party if he thought for a second the idea wouldn’t succeed.

Zuma’s organisation – which was launched just six months ago - is now the third largest party in the country with more than two million votes cast in his favour.

Zuma said following the Nasrec Expo Centre 2022 conference, some pledged to not vote for the African National Congress (ANC) as led by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Zuma’s launch of the MK Party in December stunned some in the ANC.
