CAPE TOWN - The Elsies River community policing forum (CPF) has planned a peace march on Sunday following a spate of suspected gang shootings in the suburb.
One person was gunned down, and three others wounded earlier this week in Leonsdale.
Elsies River CPF spokesperson, Imraahn Mukaddam, said that three people were also shot and killed last weekend.
Mukaddam said that they'd also called a community imbizo in the hope of finding solutions to the scourge.
"We want to intervene as the community and representatives of this community to bring calm and peace back to the area."
