Three children, aged between four and 12, as well as a 30-year-old man, were gunned down inside the establishment more than a week ago.
Seven other people were injured, while four others escaped unharmed.
The pair is facing four counts of murder and 11 counts of attempted murder, amongst other charges.
Western Cape National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson, Eric Ntabazalila, said more charges were likely to be added as the investigation continued.
"Obviously, we are opposing bail on this matter. It's a schedule 6, so it's a serious matter which we think bail deserves to be opposed."
