Mosiuoa lekota’s family says the anti-apartheid activist fought bravely for his life over the past year.
The COPE leader was laid to rest in Bloemfontein on Saturday after he passed away last week following a prolonged illness.
Before his passing, Lekota had been in and out of hospital for more than a year, which led him to take a step back from political activities.
Speaking at his funeral service his family emphasised that despite his illness, Lekota fought hard to remain with his family.
