Four killed in car accident on N2 near Dutywa

CAPE TOWN - Four people have died after a driver of a vehicle they were traveling in lost control, and overturned on the N2 road in Dutywa, Eastern Cape, on Sunday.
According to the provincial Department of Transport, two other survivors were rushed to Butterworth Hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
It said the car had six occupants, who are believed to have been church members.
Over 26 people have died in the Eastern Cape in June alone.
"We can confirm the death of these four people in that accident that happened on the N2 just outside Idutywa,” said provincial Department of Transport spokesperson Unathi Binqose.
“It was four females, adult females, and that person in that accident while the driver who was a male along with other male were rushed to hospital."
