(Slight) fuel price decrease: Here's how much less you'll pay at the pumps in August

JOHANNESBURG - The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) has confirmed projections of a fuel price decrease in August.
From Wednesday, South Africans will pay 15 cents less for both grades of petrol, and close to 30 cents less for diesel.
The DMRE said the adjustments were owed to Brent Crude oil price increasing per barrel, international prices for petrol improving, and a slightly stronger Rand.
Here is how much less you will pay for your fuel in August:
- Petrol 93 (ULP & LRP): 15 cents per litre decrease;
- Petrol 95 (ULP & LRP): 15 cents per litre decrease;
- Diesel (0.05% sulphur): 28 cents per litre decrease;
- Diesel (0.005% sulphur): 17 cents per litre decrease;
- Illuminating Paraffin (wholesale): 22 cents per litre decrease; and
- Maximum LPGas Retail Price: 14 cents per kilogram decrease.
