JOHANNESBURG - Police have arrested an inmate who escaped from a correctional facility in KwaZulu-Natal.
Dumisani Mthethwa broke out of the Waterval Correctional Centre on Monday.

He was part of a group assigned to work in the facility's garden.
He was serving a 15-year sentence for robbery with aggravating circumstances at the time of his escape.
"Dumisani Mthethwa is scheduled to appear in court on charges related to his escape," said Correctional Services spokesperson, Singabakho Nxumalo.
"Additionally, his security classification will be reviewed, and he will be transferred to a different correctional facility to ensure heightened security measures."
