JOHANNESBURG - Eight people, including school children, died in a crash in KwaZulu-Natal on Friday morning.
Paramedics said there was a head-on collision between a truck and the vehicle that was transporting the pupils.
IPSS Medical rescue spokesperson Samantha Meyrick said that the crash happened in Mandeni on the N2.
"We have at least 8 confirmed dead and one critically injured on scene. This is a developing story as search and rescue personnel continue the search for children that are suspected to be missing."
