CAPE TOWN - Police are hunting four suspects involved in a shooting in the parking area at Howard Centre in Pinelands.
The incident happened in broad daylight on Monday.
The police's Malcolm Pojie said that the victim, a Chinese national, sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was admitted to hospital.
"Preliminary information reveals that the victim was accosted by four unknown suspects who attempted to rob him of a black bag later found to be containing documents and a laptop and a scuffle ensued. It is reported that several shots were fired in the direction of the victim, with one bullet hitting him in the chest."
