More calls for tech resources to be used to make Table Mountain safer

CAPE TOWN - There are calls for more technology in an effort to make Table Mountain safer. 

The national park has in the past been a hunting ground for muggers, but security has improved in recent weeks.

Founder of Take Back Our Mountain, Taahir Osman, said the prominent tourist attraction needed technological resources.

"For starters, I think some of the public is constantly requesting why are there no cameras in all the parking lots or the main parking lots that the hikers are using because their cars are constantly being broken into."
