January brings possible price hike in both grades of petrol for SA motorists

The Automobile Association is predicting an increase in both grades of petrol in January.
AA Spokesperson Eleanor Mavimbela says motorists should make provision for the possibility of extra fuel costs.

"Based on the data unleaded 95 is anticipated to increase by three cents per litre, while unleaded 93 is projected to increase by 11 cents per litre. Diesel prices are expected to drop by approximately three cents per litre and illuminating paraffin is set to decrease around 14 cents per litre.”
Mavimbela says the price reductions are due to lower international oil prices.
